A Cell Broadcast Entity (CBE) is a logical entity in 2G/3G/4G/5G network responsible for the transmission of cell broadcast messages.

Cell broadcast is a one-way broadcast service that allows operators to send notification messages to all mobile devices within a coverage area, such as emergency alerts, traffic information, weather forecasts, etc.
